May 30, 2001
| Wednesday, May 30, 2001 (by David A. Reeves, June 3, 2001) The city had inquired about the occupancy capacity of the building and Calvin Mertz was hopeful that providing this last piece of information would allow their issuing the building permit. (Alas, not; see later report). Backfill material for the foundation footings: The contractor has begun setting the foundation forms in place (horiz. alignment). A Company, Inc. <http://www.acoinc.com> has picked up two of the portable restrooms, leaving the remaining two on the job site. Sign Pro, Inc. finished the "Gifts In Kind" donor appreciation sign and I picked it up from their shop. The vinyl lettering seemed to like their brand new boards better, so they gave us one in place of the one we provided. The first three "Gifts In Kind" donors names are in place. They are "PETERSON ENGINEERING", "SIGN PRO, INC.", and "NOLAND & SON CONSTR. CO." • The attached photo shows the Link Belt backhoe with its
bucket in the area of one of the foundation footings and the compacted
backfill in place and the footing form to one side. |
