The steel frame for our building was delivered this morning. I call it our "erector set" because it will be bolted to our foundation and bolted together in the same way. We can expect to see the frame and roof completed in about 4 or 5 working days beginning tomorrow.

I had the general contractor install a conduit from our telephone connection point to the location of the last telephone pedestal to be installed by the telephone company today. Tomorrow they will extend the storm drain to the east where we will discharge water into a ditch leading to a storage pond which will meter the water out to the south ease corner of our property. Next week they will install a pipe from the new irrigation pipe on 3200 West to the east past the north end of the building so we can set up a system to pump our irrigation water into the sprinkler system. This part of the sprinkler system is not in our contract but we are getting the work done at the contractor's cost.

We have the sprinkler system design based on the detailed landscape design so this installation can proceed next week when the grading contractor has completed his work.

The City crew extended the sidewalk along 3200 West today and expects to have it finished the end of this week or early next week. This will include the connection to our parking lot curb and gutter. Our contractor will then install the paving to connect the parking lot to the street.

The three photos today show the steel for the structure laid out ready for installation, the installation of the telephone conduit, and the extended sidewalk on 3200 West.
