Hallelujah, a permit has been issued to us. At 3pm I left City Hall with permit and approved set of plans in hand. We have scheduled inspection of the footing forms for 8:30 am tomorrow and concrete delivery for 9:30 am. We are finally really under way. There is one remaining issue about the piping of the irrigation ditch along 3200 West that we are having dialogue about with the City folks but I expect prompt resolution.

The excavation contractor has nearly completed clearing the total site and is moving the excess material out of the way. Much of it will be used for landscape berms later on. The photo shows the status with majestic Lone Peak in the background. I continue to marvel at the beauty of our site as I spend more and more time there.

I learned today that the Butler Building steel is scheduled to arrive about July 23 so we can have our own Pioneer Day celebration. Meanwhile expect to see the perimeter foundation walls poured by early next week and the beginning of some utility work soon.
